IN LAGOA DE ALBUFEIRA
(SESIMBRA, PORTUGAL)
Ours apartments are located at the recently urbanized village of
Lagoa de Albufeira about 1 km from the lagoon and the fantastic
beach, which stretches several kilometers from the city Costa da
Caparica in the north until the fisher village Aldeia do Meco in
the south. It is an ideal location especially for familys with
children, as the "little ones" can take a swim at the lagoon
without waves without worrying. The village is very calm and
isolated, while the beautyfull fisher village Sesimbra, with all
necessary infrastructures, is about 15 km off. The capital
Lisbon is a 40 minutes drive and really well worth a visit.
Our
apartments are situated in the recently recovered area of the
Lagoon of Albufeira, approximately 1 km from the lagoon 'Lagoa
de Albufeira' and the beach. You have bars and small restaurants
specialize in grilled fish and sea fish in Lagoa de Albufeira
village, and Less than 3 Km away,
Alfarim is the closer village with some shops, banks,
pharmacy and a supermarket. The splendid fishers place Sesimbra
is in next proximity (10km.), as well as the kilometer-long
sandy beach 'Meco' which is not overrun, even during the high
season. And of course, not to forget Lisbon (25km. to
citycentre), surely one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
A few kms can also visit the famous Castle of Sesimbra (15kms),
the closest city is famous for fish and shellfish restaurants;
the fantastic Cape Espichel (12kms), the Meco Beach (3kms),
known nudist beach and not only :) and Arrábida mountains
(20kms) ....Welcome and enjoy.
